The City of Broken Arrow has streamlined how Solid Waste & Recycling customers receive their landfill passes. Instead of picking them up in person, customers can now request their passes online using the Landfill Pass Request form. Each customer is eligible for two passes per year, and once the request is submitted, approved passes will be delivered as a QR code that can be used at the landfill.

Once you have the QR code containing your landfill pass, you may offload household waste at the Waste Management Quarry Landfill located at 13720 E. 46th St. North at no charge. This is easily accessible by traveling north on U.S. Highway 169 to the eastbound exit at 46th St. North. Passes must be used within 30 days and all landfill restrictions (listed below) will apply. Please bring your driver’s license to verify the name associated with the QR code.

Any household waste can be dropped off except for the following items:

  • Batteries
  • Compressed gas cylinders
  • Fluorescent light bulbs
  • Hazardous materials
  • Liquids (such as paint in liquid form, gasoline, used oil, etc.)
  • Tires
  • Untreated medical waste

Call the Tulsa M.e.t at 918-584-0584 to find out how to dispose of these items.

Refrigerators/air conditioners/freezers/or Freon containing items will be accepted with the proper documentation that the refrigerant has been properly removed by a licensed CFC technician.

Motor oil, batteries, antifreeze, steel cans, and scrap metal are accepted year-round at the Metropolitan Environmental Trust (MET) recycling facility located at 302 North Elm Place. The facility also accepts plastic bottles, glass bottles, newspaper, office paper, aluminum cans, cardboard and paperboard.

For hours of operation and additional information about eligible items, please contact the landfill at 918-439-7835.

Broken Arrow residents are able to dispose of their hazardous household waste any time of the year at the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility, 4502 S. Galveston Ave. in west Tulsa. Click here for more information on hazardous waste.
