2026 General Obligation Bond

To help prepare for the upcoming GO Bond Election, the city has been soliciting feedback from citizens by way of surveys. Your input with these surveys will help identify which growth opportunities are important to you to the enhance the quality of life in Broken Arrow.

Public Sports Facilities - Potential 8th Proposition 

The City Council and Administration is considering an additional proposition on the ballot of April 2026 Election. This proposition would be focused solely on funding improvements to community sports facilities in Broken Arrow by way of a temporary half of one cent sales tax increase that would expire after five years. The survey was available on Sept. 22 and remained open to the public through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13. A total of 3,304 users responded with 68 percent indicating they would support a temporary, five-year half cent sales tax increase to pay for the improvements. South Broken Arrow Library

Tulsa City County Library has a plan to construct a new library to replace the current South Broken Arrow Library. From July 28 to Aug. 18, we asked for your thoughts about the City of Broken Arrow contributing financially to the project. Click here to review the results of the 4,212 responses.

Public Safety Survey

The Public Safety Survey was available for three weeks during June 2025. It focused on police, fire, and emergency management services provided by the City of Broken Arrow. Thank you to those of you who participated in the survey. Click here to see the results of the 2,210 responses

Parks and Recreation Survey

The Parks and Recreation Survey was available between March 10 and March 31, 2025. It focused on a new community center in south Broken Arrow, building out the 53 acres of Elam Park, expansion of the trails, and other recreational activities. Click here to see the results of the 3,509 responses.

Pedestrian Connectivity Survey

The Pedestrian Connectivity Survey, conducted between Oct. 23 and Nov. 13, 2024, pulled in feedback from citizens about the sidewalks and trail system in Broken Arrow. Click here to the see the results of the 2,232 responses about moving around the city without the use of a motor vehicle.

Roadway Improvements Survey

The Roadway Improvements Survey, conducted between June 5 and June 26, 2024, gathered feedback on 40 different capital improvement project ideas related to city streets and intersections. The survey results are now available for review. Click here to see the detailed outcomes and insights that will help shape future improvements in our city.

2024 Citizen Survey

Your participation in this comprehensive survey will be instrumental in guiding the decision-making process for capital improvements that are included in the next GO Bond package. We received an overwhelming response, with over 3,900 citizens providing valuable feedback between January 30 and February 29.
