County Line Road reduced to single-lane of traffic for sewer project
Starting Feb. 13, two southbound lanes of County Line Road (193rd Street) will be consolidated to a single lane of traffic and placed in the middle turn lane along the street’s west side for the next three to four months as contractors begin the second phase of the County Line Trunk Sewer Project.
Motorists should also note the speed limit will be reduced to 30 MPH during construction.
The contractor will install a new 48-inch trunk sewer line along the west side of County Line Road. As a part of this work, they will stage the southbound lanes of the roadway so that they can safely work around the existing compromised County Line Trunk sewer pipe.
The work zone is from 1,000 feet north of 111th Street extended down to the westbound on-ramp to the Creek Turnpike. This method of traffic control will only be in use where the contractor is currently working. All turning side streets and driveway access will be maintained during construction.
This traffic control will be in place beginning this week and will be in use for 3 to 4 months, depending on the weather.
