Feb. 23 - 11 a.m.

Services for Solid Waste and Recycling have been suspended due to the inclement weather passing through the area. Crews completed approximately 58% of today's routes and are packing out their trucks which will result in more than 60% completion for today. We will notify the the community when services will resume.

Feb. 23 - 7 a.m.

Precipitation is expected to arrive around 9 a.m. Crews will begin pre-treating the roads around 8 a.m. and will utilize 10 trucks with spreaders. We currently have 1,700 tons of salt on hand that will be used to treat the roads.

As the snow/sleet begins to subside, we will treat the roads at that time and be mindful of any refreezing that may occur. Additionally, crews are on standby and ready to respond to downed trees, debris, traffic signal problems, etc. should those issues arise. Fleet maintenance will be staffed and available to address any equipment and/or mechanical needs throughout the weather event. Please check back here or on our Facebook page for more updates.
