Report fraudulent unemployment claims

Post Date:06/24/2020 11:00 a.m.

With the recent spike in unemployment claims due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of fraudulent unemployment claims has
also risen. To combat the spike, Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter has developed a task force to handle the increased reports.

Anyone who suspects a fraudulent claim has been made using their name is asked to fill out a form on the Attorney General’s  Coronavirus Fraud Resource website. You do not need to file a report with the Broken Arrow Police Department.

Oklahomans can also stop false claims made in their names by contacting the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) at fraud@oesc.state.ok.us. For more information on false claims and other resources related to unemployment for individuals and business owners, visit oesc.ok.gov.
