Report fraudulent unemployment claims

Post Date:06/24/2020 11:00 a.m.

With the recent spike in unemployment claims due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of fraudulent unemployment claims has
also risen. To combat the spike, Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter has developed a task force to handle the increased reports.

Anyone who suspects a fraudulent claim has been made using their name is asked to fill out a form on the Attorney General’s  Coronavirus Fraud Resource website. You do not need to file a report with the Broken Arrow Police Department.

Oklahomans can also stop false claims made in their names by contacting the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) at For more information on false claims and other resources related to unemployment for individuals and business owners, visit
