You are invited to a public meeting from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025. The meeting
will be held in the Creekwood Elementary School Cafeteria located at 1301 E. Albany Street, Broken
Arrow, OK.
This meeting concerns proposed improvements to 23rd Street (County Line Road) from Albany Street
(6lst Street) to Omaha Street (51st Street). The plan is to widen the road from two
lanes to five lanes, two lanes in each direction with a dedicated center tum lane, between Albany
Street and Omaha Street. Sidewalks will be added to both sides of the roadway and the improvements
will generally be located along the existing alignment. The City of Broken Arrow contracted with
Benham, Inc., an engineering company, to design the plans.
Final design plans will be available for viewing at the public meeting. Representatives from the
City of Broken Arrow and Benham, Inc. will be present to discuss the project, answer questions, and
hear your opinions. An environmental consultant will also share the results of environmental
studies and collect comments from the public. A City representative will also be there to translate
the presentation into Spanish if needed.
We hope you can come and share your thoughts or questions about the project. If you have any
questions before the meeting, please contact Travis Small at the City of Broken Arrow Engineering
and Construction Department by calling (918) 259-7000, Ext. 5414 or emailing
engineering.construction@brokenarrowok.gov.
