Sewer line replacement underway in east BA

Sewer pipe replacement

Work continues on a 24-inch trunk sewer line in east Broken Arrow off Hwy 51 and 91st Street.

The City of Broken Arrow is replacing 1,500 linear feet of concrete sewer line with 24 inch SDR35 pipe and three manholes.

The concrete had eroded over time causing sinkholes in the area.

“Every time it rained the manholes were filling up,” said Tom Kimbrough, Utilities Construction Supervisor.

The sewer line project started approximately three weeks ago and should be complete in three more weeks depending on weather.
