The Parks and Recreation Department in Broken Arrow manages over 800 acres of public land with 38 parks throughout the city.

Recreation opportunities abound for the entire family in active and passive green-space, but also in special events like the Daddy Daughter Dance, Concerts in the Park, Mom & Son Luau, and the Kids Fishing Derby.

By offering a wide variety of indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities, residents are able to stay active year round! Check out some of our favorites:

All three of our pools are now operational. Have a great Summer splash.

Swim punch passes can be purchased at Nienhuis Park Community Center or Central Park Community Center. Please bring a valid state ID, drivers license or a water bill.

What Does the Future Hold for Parks & Recreation in Broken Arrow?

The City of Broken Arrow is working on a multi-phase development of an events park, called Chisholm Trail Park (Events Park). Located at 21101 E. 101st Street (just east of Northeastern State University and the Creek Turnpike), the 165-acre park offers the perfect space to hold large events and festivals.

Contact our Community Event Manager  to discuss hosting your next event at Chisholm Trail Park (Events Park).
