The Broken Arrow Municipal Authority is served by the five City Council members.

Created July 1, 1979 - Candidates serve 4-year terms - Elections held each odd numbered year in April - Mayor serves as Chairman & Vice-Mayor serves as Vice-Chairman - to finance, develop and operate the water, sewer and solid waste activities
