1. How do we get to the Police Department?

How do we get to the Police Department?
Our address is 2302 S. 1st Place. We are located approximately ½ mile south of E. Washington (91st St.) on 1st Place, just north of the Justice Center.

2. How do I add information to my Police Report?

You can contact the non-emergency phone number 918-451-8200 and request an officer take a supplemental report.

3. How do I file a Collision Report online?

The City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Police Department have partnered with online service TRACView to provide online access to traffic collision reports. Broken Arrow is the first agency within the state of Oklahoma to provide this convenient service to its citizens.

To access an online collision report, you will need to provide the following:

Driver's last name
Date of the collision
Collision report number
Ability to pay $5.50 for the report

Follow these instructions:
-On the left navigation bar, click "Purchase A Report"
-Click on Oklahoma within the map of the United States
-Click on "Broken Arrow Police Department"
-Enter driver's last name, accident date, and accident report number
-Pay for the report and save and print it

For most collisions, reports will generally be available online within three (3) business days after the date of the collision. TRACView

4. How do I file a Freedom of Information Request?

Freedom of Information requests may be obtained from the City Legal Department at 918-259-8422.

5. Where can I get information about my Traffic Citation?

Information regarding the price of a ticket or questions regarding the amount of any fine can be obtained by calling the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office at 918-451-8558.

6. How do I get a copy of a Police Report?

In Person - BAPD Records Dept. 2302 S. First Place, Broken Arrow, OK (918) 451-8302. Window Hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. excluding City Holidays.

7. Can I file a Police Report Online?

Yes. Citizen Crime Reports may be found online. CCR’s may be utilized for reporting stolen or embezzled property, burglary to automobiles, harassing and obscene phone calls. CCR’s are reserved for those crimes which are not in progress; have no witnesses and there is no evidence left at the scene to collect. An officer should respond to take a report in all other incidents.

8. How do I get a copy of my driving record?

Driving records are maintained by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. To obtain a certified copy of your driving record contact DPS at 918-296-5800. Non-certified copies of your driving record may be obtained at your local tag agent’s office.

9. How can I obtain Neighborhood Crime Statistics?

To obtain neighborhood crime statistics contact our Crime Prevention Specialist, Lisa Ford at 918-451-8213.

10. Can I get a background check on a citizen?

Background checks on citizens can be obtained through the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

11. How can I find out if a Sex Offender lives in my neighborhood?

Sex offenders are required by law to register with the police department in the jurisdiction where they are living. The Police Department publishes this information on its web site. Select Sex Offender icon. Enter your zip code. The sex offenders residing within the selected zip code will be displayed. You can also select zip code map, click on sex offender then click refresh map. Locations will be displayed on the map.

12. How do I find out if I have a warrant?

To find out if you have a warrant through the City of Broken Arrow contact the Municipal Court Clerk’s Officer at 918-451-8558.

13. How do I find out if someone has been arrested?

You can call the Broken Arrow City Jail at 918-451-8352. For Tulsa County charges contact the David Moss Correctional Center at 918-596-9222 Ext. 2 then Ext. 1. For arrests in Wagoner County, contact the Wagoner County Jail at 918-485-3124.

14. Do I get a Protective Order where I live or where the other party lives?

You can apply for a Protective Order in either the County where you live or the County where the other party resides. The Protective Order is valid and enforceable nationwide.

15. How do I get a Protection Order?

Tulsa County
To obtain an emergency protective order, you can go to the Family Safety Center at 3010 S. Harvard Ave in Tulsa Monday thru Friday. You must arrive there before 12 p,m. There are DVIS (Domestic Violence Intervention Services) personnel onsite to assist you with the filing of the paperwork. You may also go to the Tulsa County Courthouse at 500 S. Denver, First Floor in Tulsa. You must arrive there between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the 11 a.m. docket or between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. for the 3 p.m. docket.

Wagoner County
To obtain an emergency protective order, you must go to the Wagoner County Courthouse at 307 E. Cherokee St in Wagoner. You may go Monday-Friday anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

If an emergency protective order is granted, the Judge will schedule a hearing date approximately ten days from the date the order was issued. The order will not be valid until the other party has been served with the emergency protective order. You should carry a copy of the order with you at all times.

16. Can you help me get my property back from my old roommate, husband, or wife?

This is considered a civil matter between you and your roommate, husband, or wife. The police department cannot get involved in these matters. All civil matters are handled through the District Court. If you fear for your safety while you retrieve some of your property you can call our non-emergency number, 918-451-8200, and request an officer to keep the peace.

17. Is there a noise ordinance?

Yes. Noise coming from a vehicle, residence or business should not be heard from a distance of 50 feet between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

18. What can I do about my neighbor’s barking dog?

Contact the Animal Shelter at 918-259-8311 during business hours 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Saturday. It is helpful to keep a log with the dates and times the dog has been barking to provide to the Animal Control Officer. After hours, contact the Broken Arrow Police Communications Center at 918-451-8200 to report the barking dog. Animal Control officers are on duty Thursday-Monday 8:00am-9:00pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00am-6:00pm.

19. Does the City of Broken Arrow have any Curfew Laws?

Yes. The curfew for individuals under 18 years of age is between 11 p.m.-6 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and between the hours of Midnight and 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

20. How can I file a complaint against a Police Officer?

To file a complaint against a Police Officer you may contact the Police Shift Supervisor at 918-451-8301 who can help you with the complaint process. You may also contact the Internal Affairs Division at 918-451-8399 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday—Friday.

21. Can the Police Department tell me if something I have purchased is stolen?

If you have the serial number of the purchased item you can contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 918-451-8405 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday—Friday.

22. When and where do I go to get fingerprinted?

The Broken Arrow Municipal Jail no longer provides fingerprinting for the general public.
