Broken Arrow City Council election results

Council Chambers

On Tuesday, April 2, Broken Arrow residents voted to re-elect Vice Mayor Scott Eudey to the Broken Arrow City Council for Ward 4 and Johnnie Parks to the At Large Council seat. Residents also elected Christi Gillespie to fill the Ward 3 City Council seat. Gillespie will replace long-time City Councilor Mike Lester, who has served on Council since 2007.

With Gillespie joining the Council, this will be the first time in Broken Arrow history that two women (her and Ward 1 Council Member Debra Wimpee) will serve on the City Council at the same time, according to City records.

Eudey, Parks and Gillespie will be sworn in on Tuesday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m., during the City Council Meeting held at City Hall, 220 S. First St.
